Paris Fashion Week: Chloe spring/summer 2012

 For her debut at French fashion house Chloe, Clare Waight Keller showed a soft and suggestive Spring 2012 collection. Linear divisions were a popular theme as models dressed in flowing white dresses decorated with a tan and turquoise long fringe print glided down the runway. Pleated drop-waist dresses in green, blue, burgundy and coral or with all-over eyelet detailing showed Waight Keller’s subtle approach. It seems that the designer is wading carefully into the Chloe waters, as this collection did not show anything earth-shatteringly new instead opting for a safe, commercial-friendly platform from which Waight Keller may build upon and grow.
